Life can be hard. We have all experienced hard times filled with uncertainty and pain. It’s hard to know what to do when hard times hit us. We often react emotionally and forget to lean on God. With practice, and with the support of other Christians, we can learn to turn to God in prayer, seeking His truth in His Word more and more. When we remember to do this, we will find the peace and joy that only God can truly offer.
Dear God, I thank you that your Word is always helpful and true. Thank you that your Word encourages me to ask for help from you when I need it. I can be assured that you will give me an answer. I also know that when I seek you and your wisdom, you will show me exactly what I need at the right time. And finally, thank you for opening the doors that you want me to walk through today! I'm blessed because your Holy Spirit is my helper, counselor, and guides me always. Help me to look for your guidance as I plan my food and eating for the day ahead. Amen.
