Sunday Devotion

Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

When we struggle with fear and anxiety, let’s remember this verse. God really does have plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Even though we may experience pain in this life, rest-assured that God has great plans for our future and a life with Him for all eternity. Until then, we rest in this hope.

Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you that you have good plans for my life and good plans for me day-to-day. Please help me to trust that it is your desire to prosper me in all areas of my life. It is my desire to follow you, Lord, in all my thoughts, attitudes, and actions today. Make me the kind of person that has a humble heart to live in ways that are best for taking care of my body as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
