John 8:31-23 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
God’s Word sets us free. When we are in His Word, we have a life with peace and joy. In the times that we struggle, remember to go to God’s Word for His comfort and peace. This peace will help us when we are tempted to overeat and help us make healthy food choices.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe, Lord, that you are the author of all truth. I thank you that as I seek you, dear Lord, and your truth that you will set me free. Thank you that I can always ask for your guidance and wisdom instead of trying to figure out things on my own. I praise you always. Thank you for this new day. Amen.
