Matthew 19:14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
As adults, we often think we can handle life’s difficulties on our own. We are, after all, adults, right? If you are like me, however, we often charge ahead with life without thoroughly thinking things through. When we stop and ask God to help us, and also consult wise friends, we find our lives go more smoothly. When we trust in God like children trust their parents, we find peace and joy.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to come to you as a little child today. Thank you for your amazing grace, especially for those times when I struggle or fall short throughout the day. I praise you because you are my helper and Lord. I thank you that you are my very best friend. Amen!
