Sunday Devotion

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Trust in God is huge when trying to recover from compulsive overeating, and in all aspects of our lives. We say we believe in God, yet we are anxious. Yes, difficulties will come our way whether we are Christians or not. The difference for us is that God is there for us to help us through the difficult times. We need to trust in this fact and know we do not face difficulties alone. We also have each other and the community at Reshape and Recover. Dear Heavenly Father, I’m so encouraged that your word says that all things work together for good for those who are called according to your purpose for our lives. Please show me how to trust you more, dear God, in all things. Show me how to see life from your view that all things can work together for my good as we invite you into our lives today. Amen.
