Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
These verses encourage us to let go of the past and move ahead towards the goals that God has for us. Let this be a source of inspiration and motivation as we begin a new year in Christ.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for all of the blessings you’ve given us throughout our lives. We are truly thankful and praise you, Lord, for all your wonderful works! Please continue to bless us in the new year. Help us to remember you in everything we do and say and give us the strength to conquer our food addictions. In Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen.
