🌿 Sometimes the biggest weight we carry isn’t on our bodies — it’s on our hearts. Step 9 invites us into healing and new freedom.
In Reshape and Recover, Step 9 invites us to grow even deeper through making amends and healing relationships.
Healing from food addiction isn’t just about repairing our relationship with food — it’s also about healing our relationships with others.
The journey to freedom often leads us to recognize where our actions, even unintentionally, caused hurt. Step 9 isn’t about reopening old wounds — it’s about seeking peace, restoration, and growth through humility and care.
💬 True freedom comes not only from releasing the weight on our bodies, but also the weight in our hearts.
At Reshape and Recover, we approach this step with prayerful discernment, grace, and a commitment to do no further harm. Every amends we make — whether directly or through changed behavior — becomes another step toward living in the light of God’s mercy.
📖 "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." — Romans 12:18
If you’re ready to walk your recovery journey with faith, courage, and community, we’re here for you.
