Step 11. After the death of Moses, the Lord said to Joshua in Joshua 1:8, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." These words spoken thousands of years ago still hold true for us today. Keeping God's word in our hearts, words, and actions brings us blessings beyond what we can imagine. Spending time in His Word daily helps build our relationship with God. Something as simple as a daily Bible verse in your email or calendar is a good beginning. Then, remembering to pray throughout the day keeps God in our minds and brings us transformative peace.
