Having a meal plan and an action plan for situations in life that tempt us to eat our binge foods are invaluable in helping us stick to our healthy way of eating. It empowers us to stick to our nutritious choices even when temptation comes our way. It helps promote consistency and commitment to long-term health goals. I have personally found that having a meal plan and an action plan helps keep me on track. I have a list of foods that are safe and stick to those foods. If someone tempts me to stray from them, I simply say "no thank you. I don't eat that." Try it - it works!
