Gratitude is important in seeing and embracing our blessings. When you are grateful for what you have, you are not focusing on the negative, which can increase your peace and joy. Gratitude is important to recovery. Writing a gratitude list every day can help put you in a right frame of mind for staying abstinent from your binge foods, one day at a time.

I love the idea of writing in a gratitude journal every day! I started one a few years ago and made it maybe a month in before I lost the book somewhere and forgot all about it... but you've encouraged me to start doing it again! Thanks, Julie!
