Breaking Free from Food Obsession

Struggling with food obsession? You’re not alone.

I spent years consumed by thoughts of food—planning my next meal, dealing with guilt after overeating, and turning to food for comfort in every emotion. It wasn’t until I admitted my powerlessness and started working the 12 Steps that I found freedom.

Here’s a helpful tip: Watch out for HALT—Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. These triggers can lead to overeating. Stay nourished, address emotions through prayer or Steps 4-5, and get enough sleep to avoid falling into old patterns.

God’s grace and the 12 Steps can guide us to lasting recovery. Need help? We’re here for you. Looking for faith-based support on your journey to overcoming food struggles?
