Here are some strategies for Overcoming Food Cravings. Emotional eating is something I used to struggle with. Honestly, it was just about any emotion I was having and I would eat. Suggestions for better ways to deal with your emotions are pray, call a friend, play some music, or get some exercise. Find a hobby you enjoy and throw yourself into it. There is healing in all of those options. I pray this strategy helps you break free from emotional eating.
